Assimilation lighting for cut flowers

Effectively stimulating your cut flowers with grow light to promote growth and reduce infection.

Cut flowers must be able to grow and flower all year round in your horticultural business. By using the right assimilation lighting, cut flowers can be cultivated and sold to customer twelve months per year. Grow light is particularly important during the dark winter months. The assimilation lighting of Gebr. Geers achieve the best return from your cut flowers, also during the winter months.

Ideal lighting for cut flowers

There are different methods for harvesting cut flowers; the method chosen also determines which fittings and reflectors are most suitable. Some cut flowers are harvested in one go, whereby the whole cultivation requires the same lighting. Other cut flowers are harvested in sections, whereby each section requires a different type of assimilation lighting depending on the status of the cultivation. Having the correct lighting has immediate positive effects. Not only does it stimulate the growth of the cut flowers, it also prevents the presence of fungal diseases and infections in the cultivation.
